About Absolute RPE LTD

Absolute RPE Solutions Ltd are Hertfordshire based Fit2Fit Accredited Face Fit Providers.

The company was formed in March 2017 and provides RPE Face Fit Testing & Training services to PPE distributors, RPE manufacturers, training companies, healthcare providers and any other businesses with a requirement.

Meet the Team

Gary Stewart

Gary has been involved in the PPE market for 30 years, working firstly for the UK Safety Group, then Aearo Technologies, Microgard Ltd and finally Alpha Solway Ltd. Gary is a Fully Accredited Fit2Fit Provider in both the Qualitative & Quantitative methods and an Abrasive Wheel Trainer.

Sarah Stewart

Sarah is the Company Secretary of Absolute RPE Solutions and also an experienced Fit2Fit Qualitative and Quantitative Fit Test Provider. Sarah is based in Hemel Hempstead and covers the Home Counties and London region for the company.

Nick Stewart

Nick is based in Northamptonshire, so predominantly covers the Midlands and East Anglia regions. He is an experienced Fully Accredited Fit2Fit Provider in both the Qualitative and Quantitative methodologies.

Our Services

Introduction to Face Fit Testing

It is a legal requirement that workers wearing tight fitting Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) should be face fit tested by a competent person to the HSE standard. This requirement is detailed in the COSHH regulations.

Quantitative Face Fit Testing

This is an ambient particle method of face fit testing, whereby a fit factor is provided which determines the performance of the seal of a respirator.

All tight fitting disposable respirators can be face fit tested by this method. Specifically, Full Face masks can only be tested by this method.

Qualitative “Train the Tester”

• Class for a maximum of 6 persons

• Course duration approximately 4-5 hours

• Includes a practical demonstration of the face fit testing process

Abrasive Wheel Training

Abrasive Wheels training is a classroom-based course that ensures that you are competent and safe when using and inspecting different abrasive-wheel on Angle Grinders, Bench Grinders, Chop Saws and Petrol Cut Off Saws.
